Every event we bake for.
Some of these are loud and some of them are quiet. All of them get the same attention. If what you are planning is not on this page, ask anyway. The list only exists because somebody asked first.
Celebrations
The occasions that fill most of our calendar.
Birthdays
Character cakes for the little ones, milestone numbers for the big ones, cookie sets that match the invitation, and cupcake towers when one cake will not feed everybody.
Weddings
Tiered cakes up to four tiers, delivered and assembled by us. Cookie favors for the tables and full dessert spreads when cake alone is not the plan.
Anniversaries
Recreating the original wedding cake is a common ask. Send us a photo, however old and however blurry, and we will work from it.
Quinceañeras
Cakes and dessert tables built around the dress and the theme, color matched down to the smallest detail.
Graduations
School colors, mascots, diploma toppers, and cookie sets in the cap and gown palette. Open house spreads sized to however many people are coming through the door.
Retirements
Cakes that get the inside joke. Send us the career, the nickname and the running gag, and we will put it in buttercream.
Showers and reveals
Everything that comes before somebody arrives.
Baby showers
Soft palettes, hand painted details, and cookie sets in whatever theme the nursery is going for.
Gender reveals
Cakes with the color hidden inside until it is cut, or hot chocolate bombs that give it away when they open. We keep the secret from you too if that is how you want it.
Bridal showers
Cakes, cupcakes and cookie sets that carry the wedding palette without upstaging the day itself.
The quieter ones
These come together fast and matter as much as anything we make.
Memorials and funerals
Short notice is the norm here and we plan for it. Tell us the date and we will tell you honestly what we can do.
Sympathy and get well
Something small sent to a house that is having a hard week. We can get it to the door for you.
Work, school and community
Orders that have to travel and feed a room.
Teacher appreciation
Cookie sets for an entire staff room, boxed individually so they hand out easily.
Office parties
Sheet cakes sized to the department, or trays that survive the trip between floors.
Client gifts
Branded cookie boxes in your company colors, made as a run so every box matches.
Church events
Trays for coffee hour, bake sales, baptisms and confirmations.
Fundraisers
Volume orders priced with the cause in mind. Tell us the headcount and the budget and we will work backwards from it.
Game day
Kansas City takes this seriously and so do we.
Chiefs, Royals and Sporting KC
Team color assortments, hand piped logos, player portraits, and cakes built for watch parties and playoff runs.
College and school teams
Mascots and school colors, from a university spread down to a middle school team party.
Holidays
Seasonal sets go up ahead of each one, and custom orders run alongside them.
Christmas
Decorated cookie boxes, trees and snowflakes, and cakes for the family table.
Valentine's Day
Heart sets, red and pink palettes, and hot chocolate bombs that open into something.
Easter
Pastel cookie sets, egg shapes and spring colors.
Fall and Halloween
Pumpkins, spiders and harvest palettes, plus cakes for parties on either side of the scary.
Fourth of July
Red, white and blue sets for cookouts, parades and pool parties.
St Patrick's Day
Green everything, shamrocks and gold detail.
How an order works
Whatever the event, the process does not change. No cart, no checkout, just a conversation that ends in something made for your date.
- 01
Tell us what you are planning
Send the occasion, your date and how many people you are feeding.
- 02
You send us your design
A photo, a sketch, a screenshot, or something from this site you want made again. Whatever you have, send it and we will work from it.
- 03
Nothing gets bought until you approve it
We come back with your design worked up and a price. Not a single ingredient gets purchased until you have looked at it and told us it is right.
- 04
We run a test batch
Before the real thing, we make a sample so you can see how your design actually comes out once it is baked. Changes are easy at this stage.
- 05
We bake it
Your order is made fresh for your date, by hand, start to finish.
- 06
You pick it up and go celebrate
Most orders are collected and we deliver when it makes sense. Either way it turns up at your event looking like the thing you asked for.
Tell us what you are planning.
Send the date and roughly what you are picturing. If your event is not on this page, ask anyway. The list only exists because somebody asked first.
Start your orderHow our pricing works
We price by the design, not by the slice. What your order costs depends on how long it takes to make and what goes into it, which is why a number on a page would only ever be wrong for somebody.
How we plan around your date
It depends on what you are ordering. A cheesecake can be quick because the real constraint is the overnight set. Decorated cookies take longer, and more of them takes longer still. If your date feels tight, ask anyway.
How your order gets to you
Most orders are picked up, and for most people that is easiest. Delivery can be arranged when it makes more sense than a drive across town, and anything with more than one tier we deliver and assemble ourselves.
